'AI is "tearing apart" companies' -interesting article. I have seen disconnects between the AI strategy and what is provided to engage it. My colleague's company provided MS CoPilot licensing for all without specific direction on use and value targets. Once I shared some uses cases, she was fully engaged and intrigued.
AI adoption is like learning to swim. You get some guidance from a trusted family member on the basics and then you need to jump in the water to learn how. Knowing the swim stokes is not learning to swim. However, they didn't just throw you in (and let you drown).
